Magadh University Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses

• MBA: Candidates must hold a three-year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
• MCA:
  • A Bachelor (Hons) degree (B.Sc./BA) with a minimum of 45% marks in Computer Applications/Computer Science as an Honours, major, or core subject, with a pass in Mathematics at the Bachelor level.
  • OR, a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree with at least 45% marks.
  • OR, a Bachelor (Hons) degree with 55% marks and a computer subject in a subsidiary/pass course/allied subject, having passed Mathematics at the Bachelor level.
• M.Sc.IT: A B.Sc., BCA, or a three-year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics is required.
• M.Sc. (Computer Science): A BCA or a three-year Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics is necessary.
• MLIS: A Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university is required. A 5% weightage is given to candidates with work experience as a Library Assistant, Assistant Librarian, or Librarian in a recognized institution.
• M.A. in Women Studies: A graduation degree in any discipline (10+2+3) from a recognized university is required.
• M.Sc. Biochemistry):
  • A B.Sc. under the 10+2+3 pattern in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Environmental Science, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Zoology.
  • OR, a graduate degree in agriculture, forestry, veterinary, Medical Science, or Pharmacy with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
• M.Sc. (Biotechnology):
  • A B.Sc. under the 10+2+3 pattern in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Environmental Science, Industrial Microbiology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Zoology.
  • OR, a graduate degree in agriculture, forestry, veterinary, Medical Science, or Pharmacy with a minimum of 40% aggregate marks.
• MA in Journalism and Mass Communication: Graduates from any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks are eligible.
• MRDM (Master of Rural Development Management): A Bachelor’s degree, preferably with Honours in the subject, with at least 45% marks in the qualifying graduate-level examination is required.

Magadh University Eligibility Criteria for PG Diploma Courses

Magadh University Eligibility Criteria for UG Diploma Courses

• BCA / B.Sc. Candidates need to have passed the Intermediate/10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST). Mathematics must be one of the subjects at the intermediate level.
• BBM: Requires passing the Intermediate/10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
• B.Sc. (Biotechnology) Hons. / B.Sc. Hons.: Candidates must have passed the Intermediate/10+2 examination with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST) and have Biology (Botany and Zoology) as a core subject.
• BLIS: A Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce degree with at least 45% marks is required. A 5% weightage is applicable for candidates with prior library work experience in recognized institutions.
• B.Sc. in Environment and Water Management (EWM): Must have passed the Intermediate/10+2 examination in Science (with Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology) with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST).
• BASPSM: I.A./I.Sc./I.Com. or an equivalent qualification from a UGC-recognized university is required.
• Bachelor in Physiotherapy: The candidate must be at least 17 years old at the time of admission. They must have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects, securing a minimum of 45% in PCB. English should be a core subject.
